Starr Hill rocked The Jefferson

If you were one of the lucky few to be invited to the 11th anniversary party, then you know exactly what I mean.  A fairly large crowd gathered as the doors opened at 7pm and each guest was welcomed by Starr Hill’s very own Mark Thompson.

A small, but ample, selection of finger foods were scattered about; a well-rounded selection of Starr Hill brews began to flow and the sounds of William Walter & Co. began to fill the venue.  The balcony bar contained a selection of Reserve brews, while the basement bar featured seasonal favorites and the main level bar had all eight taps flowing.  Each guest slipped into a comfortable location next to their favorite brew and the party was on!!!!

The historic venue has a capacity of 800 and it appeared that limit had been reached by the time Love Cannon hit the stage.  Playing late into the evening, they played a great set of favorites that were enjoyed by all.

What more could you ask for from a Starr Hill party?  The walls were lined with photos and news articles that chronicled the success of the local brewery; Starr Hill’s World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival medals were on display; a wide selection of favorite beers were available and a live music was playing from beginning to end.  A beautiful venue, fun and enjoyable night and a great reason to celebrate.

Virginia Eagle would like to congratulate Starr Hill on 11 years of being a local, community driven company that has shown the ability to succeed with one goal in mind…..providing The Gift of Great Beer.

Here’s to many more years……..Cheers!!!
