Shakin’ at the Station

One of the best seasons in Shakin’ history has come to an end!

The event generated $30,000 and each of the 15 charities involved in the 2011 season took home a total of $2,ooo.   Again, one of the best totals in the series 20+ years.  A lot of the credit can be given to mother nature, as she blessed the event with a rain free schedule.  The rest of the credit goes to the exceptional event management team that operates the event and books the best and most popular local bands in the area.  The event is truly a community focused affair that is dedicated to providing a quality event that benefits some of the areas top charitable organizations.

As always, this event would not be possible without the help of their committed partners, including Central Shenandoah Crimestoppers, Virginia Eagle Distributing, Byers Street Bistro, Hammond Townsend Law Firm, 98 Rock, Stellar One, Kroger and Domino’s.
